Maruti Suzuki Achieves Remarkable Sales Growth

In a recent announcement, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd revealed a substantial 30% increase in its overall wholesales for December 2024, totaling 1,78,248 units. This marks a significant rise from the 1,37,551 units sold in December 2023.

Domestic Sales and Exports Show Promising Growth

The company reported a 24.44% increase in domestic sales, including light commercial vehicles and supplies to Toyota Kirloskar Motor, reaching 1,32,523 units. Exports also saw a notable rise, with 37,419 units shipped in December 2024, up from 26,884 units the previous year.

Segment-wise Sales Performance

Maruti Suzuki's mini cars and compact cars segments experienced significant growth, with sales of 7,418 and 54,906 units respectively. Utility vehicles also saw an increase, recording 55,651 units. However, the mid-sized sedan Ciaz experienced a slight dip in sales.
