Spain's Inflation Rate Shows Marginal Decline in April
The annual inflation rate in Spain slightly decreased to 2.2% in April from 2.3% in March, according to the preliminary report released by the National Statistics Institute (INE) on Tuesday. This figure was slightly higher than what analysts had anticipated.

On a month-on-month basis, the inflation rate experienced a 0.6% increase. Meanwhile, the core inflation rate, which excludes volatile food and energy prices, showed a steady growth of 2.4% both yearly and monthly.
Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices (HICP) Remains Stable
The HICP, a measure used to compare inflation rates across the European Union, remained unchanged at 2.2% compared to the previous year and saw a 0.6% rise over the month.
