Both nations are committed to streamlining trade processes through the development of smart border gates and dedicated cargo roads. Additionally, efforts are being made to improve clearance efficiency at border gates to ease congestion, facilitating smoother trade flows.
Boosting Agricultural Exports
China is fast-tracking permits for Vietnamese citrus fruits and plant-based traditional Chinese medicinal herbs, while Vietnam plans to expedite imports of Chinese sturgeon. This mutual agreement is expected to significantly enhance agricultural trade between the two countries.

Vietnam and China have pledged to tackle trade and investment barriers, reaffirming their commitment to an open, transparent, and inclusive multilateral trading system. They aim to advance economic globalization that is mutually beneficial and balanced.
