Switzerland's Robust Trade Performance in Q1 2025

In an impressive display of economic resilience, Switzerland reported a trade surplus of 13.7 billion Swiss francs in the first quarter of 2025. This announcement was made by the Federal Office for Customs and Border Security (FOCBS) in their latest report.

Exports saw a notable increase of 3.6% quarter on quarter, reaching 74.15 billion Swiss francs. Meanwhile, imports experienced a sharper rise of 5.9%, totaling 60.49 billion Swiss francs for the same period.
