Across the European Union, annual inflation was recorded at 2.5%, down from 2.7% in the previous month. Notably, Romania experienced the highest inflation rate at 5.1%, while France reported the lowest at just 0.9%.

Monthly and Core Inflation Insights

On a monthly basis, the euro area CPI increased by 0.6%, with the EU's CPI rising by 0.5%. The core inflation rate, excluding volatile items like energy and food, remained steady at 2.4% annually, with a monthly increase of 1%.
