This ambitious project, executed in collaboration with Spanish company Lantania, is set to revolutionize water supply in the region.

The desalination plant aims to provide clean drinking water to the Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Al-Baha regions, significantly impacting the lives of approximately one million people. The project encompasses the design, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning of the plant, showcasing L&T's commitment to sustainable development and innovation.
Strengthening L&T's Presence in the Middle East
This contract marks L&T's second desalination order in Saudi Arabia, reinforcing the company's growing influence in the Middle East. With contracts valued between Rs 2,500-5,000 crore, L&T continues to expand its regional footprint, demonstrating its prowess in engineering, procurement, construction, and high-tech manufacturing on a global scale.
