Understanding the Recent Drop in Gasoline Prices

In a significant market shift, the price of RON95 gasoline has decreased by 3.73%, now standing at VND19,640 per liter. This marks a notable downturn in fuel costs, reaching a six-month low.

Impact on Other Fuel Types

Factors Influencing the Market

Regulators have identified several key factors contributing to this decline, including increased oil production from OPEC+ countries, uncertainties surrounding U.S. tax policies on international goods, and the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

Over the last seven days, gasoline prices have declined by 4.4-4.5%, with oils experiencing a 0.9-2.9% decrease. Currently, RON95 is priced at $78.6 per barrel, with diesel at $84.3.
