Meta's Bold Leap into the Future with a 2GW+ Data Center

In an ambitious move to bolster its AI capabilities, Meta, under the leadership of CEO Mark Zuckerberg, has announced the development of a colossal 2GW+ data center. This facility is poised to cover a significant portion of Manhattan, marking a significant milestone in Meta's journey towards AI expansion.

With plans to bring 1 gigawatt (GW) of compute power online by 2025, the data center is set to be a cornerstone for Meta's AI endeavors, including the advancement of its Llama 4 model and the recruitment of a new AI engineer to spearhead research and development.

Meta's Vision for AI and Infrastructure

Zuckerberg envisions serving over 1 billion users with Meta's AI assistant, a goal that underscores the company's commitment to innovation and leadership in the tech industry.
