Japan's Trade Surplus Hits ¥544 Billion in March

Japan's Ministry of Finance released provisional data on Thursday showing a significant rise in the country's merchandise trade surplus, which reached ¥544.1 billion in March. This marks a substantial increase from the ¥349.9 billion surplus recorded in the same month the previous year.
Exports and Imports Show Steady Growth
Exports saw a 3.9% increase, totaling ¥9.85 trillion, while imports grew by 2.0% to ¥9.30 trillion. This growth in both exports and imports highlights the resilience of Japan's trade economy amidst global economic fluctuations.
