Trump's Ultimatum to China

In a bold move on Monday, US President Donald Trump took to Truth Social to issue a stark warning to China. He declared that the United States would impose an additional 50% tariffs on Chinese goods unless Beijing retracts its retaliatory duties by April 8.

"Therefore, if China does not withdraw its 34% increase above their already long term trading abuses by tomorrow, April 8th, the United States will impose ADDITIONAL Tariffs on China of 50%, effective April 9th," Trump stated unequivocally.
