Trump's Ultimatum to China

In a bold move that escalates the ongoing trade tensions, US President Donald Trump has issued a stark warning to China. Through his Truth Social platform on Monday, Trump declared his intention to impose an additional 50% tariff on Chinese goods unless Beijing retracts its retaliatory tariffs by April 8.

"Therefore, if China does not withdraw its 34% increase above their already long term trading abuses by tomorrow, April 8th, the United States will impose ADDITIONAL Tariffs on China of 50%, effective April 9th," Trump stated emphatically.
