US Natural Gas Inventories Rise
According to the latest report from the Energy Information Administration (EIA), the United States has witnessed a notable increase in natural gas storage. The working gas in storage reached 1,773 billion cubic feet for the week ending March 28, marking a net increase of 29 billion cubic feet from the previous week.
Annual Comparison Shows Decline
On an annual basis, the report highlights a decrease in natural gas stockpiles by 491 billion cubic feet. Furthermore, current levels are 80 billion cubic feet below the five-year average of 1,853 billion cubic feet. Despite these fluctuations, the total working gas remains within the five-year historical range, indicating a stable yet dynamic market.
