Tesla's Q1 Deliveries Overview

Tesla Inc. reported its first-quarter deliveries for 2025, totaling 336,681 units, which fell short of analyst expectations. The breakdown reveals 323,800 Model 3/Y units and 12,881 units from other models were delivered to customers worldwide.

Production Highlights

During the same period, Tesla's production reached 362,615 units. Notably, 345,454 of these were Model 3/Y vehicles, with the remaining 17,161 units comprising other models. This production figure underscores Tesla's manufacturing capabilities despite the challenges faced.

Challenges and Optimism

"The transition to the New Model Y production lines across all four factories resulted in several weeks of lost production in Q1. However, the ramp-up of the New Model Y is progressing smoothly," Tesla stated, highlighting both the hurdles and the positive outlook for the coming quarters.
