Ashok Leyland Secures Major Defence Contracts

In a significant boost to its defence business, Ashok Leyland, the flagship company of the Hinduja Group, has secured multiple orders worth over Rs 700 crore. These orders are aimed at enhancing the defence sector's capabilities in troop transportation, logistics, and specialized mobility requirements under the Close-in Weapon Systems (CIWS) programme.

Diverse Range of Specialized Vehicles

The contracts include a variety of specialized vehicles such as the Stallion 4x4, Stallion 6x6, Short Chassis Bus, and Mobility System Travelling Platform. Deliveries are scheduled to commence in the next financial year, marking a pivotal moment in Ashok Leyland's contribution to India's defence infrastructure.
