RBI Revises ATM Withdrawal Fees
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced an increase in the interchange fee and customer charges for Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) and Cash Recycler Machines (CRMs). Starting May 1, 2025, customers will be charged Rs 23 per transaction beyond the free limit, up from the current Rs 21.

Free Transaction Limits
As per the revised guidelines, customers are eligible for five free transactions per month at their own bank's ATMs, including both financial and non-financial transactions. Additionally, they are allowed three free transactions at other bank ATMs in metro cities and five in non-metro locations.
