The BMW Group has announced a challenging fiscal year for 2024, with revenues falling by 8.4% to €142.4 billion compared to the previous year. This significant drop highlights the hurdles the automotive giant faced over the year.

Net Profit and Deliveries Also Decline

Adding to the revenue decline, BMW's net profit saw a sharp decrease of 36.9% year-over-year, landing at €7.7 billion. Earnings per share per common stock also fell by 34.2% to €11.64. Furthermore, the company's automotive segment experienced a 4% drop in deliveries, totaling 2,450,854 units.

Looking Ahead: BMW's Ambitious Plans for 2025

Despite the setbacks, BMW remains optimistic about the future. "We have ambitious plans for 2025 and beyond, especially with the upcoming launch of the NEUE KLASSE. This will mark a key milestone in our history," stated Norbert Reithofer, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of BMW AG. The company aims to adapt dynamically to changes and focus on long-term success through innovative products and a balanced distribution of value creation.
