Goldman Sachs CEO Foresees IPO Market Revival
In a recent interview with Fox Business, Goldman Sachs CEO David Solomon shared his positive outlook on the future of initial public offerings (IPOs), predicting a significant increase by 2025. Despite a quiet period in recent years, Solomon highlighted the growing number of companies preparing to go public, signaling a potential uptick in listings this year.

"The IPO landscape has been subdued over the past couple of years, but the pipeline is now larger, and we anticipate an increase this year," Solomon remarked. He also addressed the impact of market uncertainties, such as those caused by tariffs, which have postponed some deals. However, he suggested that clearer regulatory guidelines could stimulate more activity.
Solomon's comments hint at a future where investor confidence and market dynamism could be reignited, especially with more definitive regulatory actions. "There is potential, especially if we got more specific actions on the regulatory front, to unleash more animal spirits," he added, pointing towards a promising horizon for the IPO market in 2025.
