Monthly and Yearly Employment Rates

Employment experienced a 0.6% increase from December, bringing 145,000 individuals into the workforce. This surge has elevated the employment rate to 62.8%, showcasing a 0.4 percentage point rise month-on-month. Furthermore, the employment rate has seen a 1 percentage point increase on a yearly basis, with 513,000 more people employed compared to January 2024, representing a 2.2 percentage point growth.
