New Era of Mobile Plans
In a significant move, leading telecom operators such as Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel have launched new prepaid plans focused exclusively on voice calls and SMS services. This initiative follows the recent amendment by telecom regulator TRAI, requiring service providers to offer separate plans for customers who do not require data services.
What's on Offer?
Bharti Airtel introduces a Rs 499 plan providing unlimited voice calls and 900 SMS with an 84-day validity. For those looking for a longer commitment, the Rs 1,959 plan offers unlimited voice calls and 3,600 SMS with a 365-day validity.
Reliance Jio steps into the arena with two plans: the Rs 458 plan, offering unlimited voice calls and 1,000 SMS with an 84-day validity, and the Rs 1,958 plan, which includes unlimited voice calls and 3,600 SMS with a 365-day validity.
Not to be left behind, Vodafone Idea presents its Rs 1,460 plan, featuring unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS with a 270-day validity.
