In a significant move to strengthen its market presence in Hyderabad, Akshayakalpa Organic, a prominent dairy player, is establishing its first milk processing facility in Telangana. This new facility, boasting a daily processing capacity of 40,000 litres of milk, is set to be located in Jadcherla, on the outskirts of Hyderabad. With an investment of Rs 20 crore, this initiative marks a pivotal step in the company's expansion strategy.

Enhancing Local Dairy Supply Chains

Currently, Akshayakalpa Organic sources 1.35 lakh litres of milk daily from approximately 1,500 farmers across Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. The company plans to integrate 65 farmers from Telangana into its supply chain by October or November 2025, with an initial processing capacity of 6,000-7,000 litres per day. This is expected to scale up to around 40,000 litres per day, involving 365 farmers.

Commitment to Organic Farming

Beyond dairy processing, Akshayakalpa Organic is committed to promoting organic farming practices. The company operates a research station in Shadnagar near Shamshabad, where it trains farmers in organic farming techniques, further solidifying its dedication to sustainable agriculture and quality dairy production.
