TVS Motor's Bold Move into Electric Mobility

CHENNAI: In a significant push towards sustainable mobility, TVS Motor has announced a Rs 125 crore investment in the electric three-wheeler segment. The highlight of this investment is the unveiling of the TVS King EV Max, a connected electric three-wheeler, at the Bharat Mobility Expo. This launch marks a pivotal moment for TVS Motor, showcasing its commitment to eco-friendly transportation solutions.

Features That Set the TVS King EV Max Apart

The TVS King EV Max is not just another electric vehicle; it's a leap towards the future of urban mobility. With a range of 179 km on a single charge, it promises efficiency and reliability. The vehicle supports quick charging, reaching 80% in just 2 hours and 15 minutes, and fully charges in 3.5 hours. It's equipped with smart features like TVS SmartXonnect, offering real-time navigation, alerts, and vehicle diagnostics through a smartphone app.

Availability and Pricing

Rajat Gupta, business head of commercial mobility at TVS Motor Company, shared that the vehicle will initially be available in UP, Bihar, J&K, Delhi, and West Bengal, with a nationwide rollout planned in the coming months. Priced at Rs 2.95 lakh (ex-showroom), the TVS King EV Max is powered by a 51.2V lithium-ion LFP battery, boasting a top speed of 60 km/hour. It comes with a warranty of six years or 150,000 km, whichever comes first, and includes 24/7 roadside assistance for the first three years.
