Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is set to present her eighth consecutive budget on February 1, marking a significant event in the country's fiscal calendar.

In adherence to tradition, the session will commence with President Droupadi Murmu's address to a joint sitting of the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha on January 31. This will be followed by the presentation of the economic survey, setting the stage for a detailed discussion on the nation's economic health and future prospects.

In other news, doctors have provided an update on actor Saif Ali Khan's health, emphasizing the need for rest due to a spine injury that risks infection.
