Japan's GDP Growth Exceeds Forecasts in Q3
The Japanese economy has shown a promising upturn in the third quarter, with the country's gross domestic product (GDP) increasing by 0.3% compared to the previous quarter, as reported by the Cabinet Office on Monday.
This growth translates to a 1.2% increase on an annual basis, surpassing market expectations. The growth was primarily driven by a 0.7% rise in private consumption and a 0.6% increase in domestic demand.
