Japan's Hitachi Energy, Ltd. is set to transform Virginia's energy infrastructure with a significant $22.5 million investment. This ambitious project will not only modernize the existing Bland County operations but also introduce a new warehouse facility in Atkins, promising to create 120 new jobs in the region.
Modernization and Expansion
With $12.5 million dedicated to upgrading the Bland facility, Hitachi Energy aims to enhance manufacturing and assembly capabilities, leading to the creation of 80 new jobs. The company's acquisition of a 75,000-square-foot facility in Smyth County further underscores its commitment to expanding its footprint in Virginia.
