In a significant move to bolster its electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing capabilities, Lucid Group, Inc. has announced plans to acquire Nikola Corporation's former facilities in Arizona. This acquisition, pending approval from the US Bankruptcy Court, includes the Coolidge and Phoenix sites, significantly expanding Lucid's operational footprint by over 884,000 square feet.

Boosting Employment and Arizona's EV Industry

As part of this expansion, Lucid is set to offer employment to more than 300 former Nikola employees, filling various technical and manufacturing roles. This initiative not only underscores Lucid's commitment to growth but also highlights its dedication to supporting the local workforce and economy.
