Wipro Unveils AI-Driven Cloud Car Ecosystem for Safer, More Economical Vehicles

BENGALURU: At its Bengaluru campus, Wipro CEO Srini Pallia introduced a groundbreaking automotive prototype, showcasing the company's cloud car ecosystem. This innovation is set to redefine the automotive sector with its focus on software-defined vehicles (SDVs), leveraging AI to enhance durability, performance, and sustainability.

The platform, designed to bring SDVs to the cloud, was first revealed in Barcelona in 2022. It offers automakers a scalable, secure, and hardware-agnostic solution, equipped with an end-to-end cybersecurity system. This approach not only accelerates innovation but also ensures that vehicles remain digitally relevant for years to come.

Transforming Vehicles into Computers on Wheels

Modern vehicles are evolving into complex systems with 30-40 distinct platforms and millions of lines of code. Wipro's FullStride vertical is at the forefront of this transformation, integrating cloud computing, silicon manufacturing, middleware, and mechatronics to process data from sensors and cameras, enabling autonomous decision-making capabilities.
