Lucid Group's Strategic Expansion in Arizona

In a significant move to bolster its manufacturing capabilities, Lucid Group, Inc. has announced plans to acquire Nikola Corporation's former facilities in Arizona. This acquisition, pending approval from the US Bankruptcy Court, includes the Coolidge and Phoenix sites, adding a substantial 884,000 square feet to Lucid's operational footprint.

A Boost for Arizona's EV Industry

The deal not only marks a pivotal expansion for Lucid but also promises to inject vitality into Arizona's electric vehicle (EV) and battery manufacturing sector. Over 300 former Nikola employees are set to be offered roles in various technical and manufacturing positions, underscoring Lucid's commitment to local talent and economic growth.
