This decline is part of a broader trend, with a 4% drop observed compared to February of the previous year.

Sector-Specific Downturns

The construction sector was among the hardest hit, witnessing a 3.2% decline from January. Similarly, the food industry saw a significant 5.3% dip, and energy production fell by 3.3% month-on-month.

Further compounding the economic slowdown, the production of intermediate goods decreased by 0.4%, while the output of consumer goods fell by 3.0% from January 2025.
