A Momentous Splashdown
The team made a safe splashdown in the Pacific Ocean, near Oceanside, California, marking the culmination of the first crewed mission to achieve polar orbit. This mission also represented the inaugural space voyage for all four crew members. The deployment of the main parachutes was observed at approximately 12:16 pm ET.
