SpaceX's Fram 2 Mission Makes History

In a groundbreaking achievement, SpaceX's Fram 2 mission successfully returned to Earth on Friday. The crew, consisting of Chun Wang, Jannicke Mikkelsen, Rabea Rogge, and Eric Philips, completed nearly four days in orbit around the planet's poles aboard the Dragon crew vehicle.

A Momentous Splashdown

The team made a safe splashdown in the Pacific Ocean, near Oceanside, California, marking the culmination of the first crewed mission to achieve polar orbit. This mission also represented the inaugural space voyage for all four crew members. The deployment of the main parachutes was observed at approximately 12:16 pm ET.
