Insured Unemployment Rate Experiences Minor Fluctuations
While the advance seasonally adjusted insured unemployment rate saw a minor increase to 1.3% for the week ending March 22, the number of insured unemployed individuals actually dropped by 56,000 to 1,903,000. The 4-week moving average for insured unemployment also decreased by 2,250 to 1,870,000, indicating a stable yet dynamic job market.
