March Brings Positive Shift in China's Manufacturing PMI
In a significant upturn, China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) reported a Purchasing Manager's Index (PMI) for manufacturing that not only entered the expansionary territory but also exceeded expectations. The index climbed to 50.5 in March, up from February's 50.2, as detailed in a recent release by the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing (CFLP).
Non-Manufacturing Sector Also Sees Growth
Alongside the manufacturing sector's improvement, the official non-manufacturing PMI for March also reflected positive momentum, registering at 50.8. This dual growth signals a robust start to the year for China's economy.
