Excluding Energy, Prices Tell a Different Story
When energy costs are excluded from the equation, the scenario shifts dramatically. Producer prices saw a 1.5% increase year-on-year and a modest 0.1% rise month-on-month, highlighting the significant impact of energy prices on the overall index.
