Adani Energy Solutions Ltd (AESL) Wins Key Transmission Project in Gujarat
Adani Energy Solutions Ltd (AESL), a leading name in the energy sector, has recently been awarded a significant power transmission project in Gujarat. This project, valued at Rs 2,800 crore, is set to play a pivotal role in the production of Green Hydrogen and Green Ammonia in Mundra, Gujarat. With a completion timeline of 36 months, this initiative marks a substantial step forward in India's green energy journey.

Project Details and Strategic Importance
The project, titled "Transmission System for Green Hydrogen/Ammonia Manufacturing Potential in Mundra, Gujarat", involves the enhancement of the Navinal (Mundra) electrical substation. This will be achieved through the installation of two 765/400kV transformers and the construction of a 75 km 765kV double-circuit line connecting to the Bhuj substation. This development is expected to significantly enhance AESL's transmission infrastructure, adding 150 cKM of lines and 3,000 MVA transformation capacity.
Awarded through Tariff Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) with PFC Consulting Limited as coordinator, the project's SPV was transferred to AESL on March 20, 2025. This acquisition is AESL's sixth this fiscal year, elevating their orderbook to Rs 57,561 Crore.
