Infosys Expands Its Team with Experienced Tech Professionals
Infosys, the renowned software giant founded by Narayana Murthy, is on a mission to bolster its workforce by recruiting experienced professionals across more than 40 specialized skill sets. This initiative is a part of the company's annual lateral hiring strategy, aiming to fill various positions with candidates who have a minimum of two years of work experience in fields such as cloud computing, cyber security, Java Python, dotnet, Android/IoS development, and automation testing.

Recruitment Strategy and Locations
Following the footsteps of previous recruitment drives in February and March, Infosys has communicated its plans internally, allowing applicants to choose their preferred interview locations and desired work cities upon selection. The company has not disclosed the exact number of new recruits targeted for this hiring drive but plans to onboard 20,000 freshers in the next financial year, maintaining a balance between fresh graduates and experienced professionals.
Addressing Staffing Gaps and Expansion
With a current workforce of approximately 323,000 individuals, Infosys aims to address staffing gaps caused by attrition and to meet the demands of existing and new project opportunities. The recruitment campaign also focuses on fulfilling staffing needs for smaller projects and enhancing operations at their Hubballi development center, as evidenced by the recent distribution of 600 offer letters to engineering students from institutions near Karnataka's Dharwad district.
Local Recruitment and Employee Incentives
Infosys's expansion strategy includes recruiting skilled graduates from nearby educational institutions to increase their workforce. This approach is complemented by the company's June transfer policy from the previous year, which offers incentives to existing employees willing to relocate to Hubballi, showcasing the company's commitment to local talent development and employee satisfaction.
