Nvidia's Strategy Amid Tariffs
Nvidia Corp. CEO Jensen Huang expressed confidence that the recent tariffs imposed by the United States on various imports would have a minimal short-term impact on the company. Speaking to CNBC, Huang emphasized Nvidia's commitment to strengthening its manufacturing presence in the U.S., highlighting collaborations with TSMC, Foxconn, and Wistron to facilitate this transition.
Building a Domestic Manufacturing Base
"We are enthusiastic about building in America," Huang stated. He revealed ongoing efforts with TSMC to prepare for chip manufacturing within the United States. Additionally, partnerships with Foxconn and Wistron are pivotal in bringing manufacturing onshore. "Long-term manufacturing onshore is going to be something very, very possible to do, and we’ll do it," Huang added, showcasing the company's dedication to expanding its domestic production capabilities.
