Challenge to Develop Indigenous Browser

The government initiated a challenge to develop an indigenous browser, receiving an enthusiastic response with 58 entries. After a rigorous evaluation, Team Zoho, Team Ping, and Team Ajna emerged as the top three winners. This initiative underscores the importance of browsers as the primary gateway to the internet, facilitating surfing, email, eOffice, and online transactions.

Compatibility Across Major Platforms

The new browser aims for compatibility across Apple's iOS, MS Windows, and Google's Android, ensuring a wide reach and usability. This development marks a significant step towards India's goal of becoming a leading software product nation, fostering innovation and self-reliance in the digital domain.
