Tencent Holdings Ltd. has announced a remarkable 11% increase in its total revenues for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2024, reaching $24 billion (172.4 billion yuan). This growth is attributed to the company's strategic enhancements and increased user engagement.

Yearly Financial Highlights

For the entire fiscal year 2024, Tencent's total revenues saw an 8% increase compared to the previous year, totaling $91.9 billion. The company also reported a 24% improvement in non-IFRS operating profit, amounting to $33.1 billion, and a 44% increase in diluted earnings per share, reaching $3.25.

CEO's Insight on Growth Drivers

"Our growth in the fourth quarter of 2024 was fueled by AI-powered enhancements to our advertising platform, higher engagement in Video Accounts, and the sustained popularity of our evergreen games," stated CEO Ma Huateng. This strategic focus has enabled Tencent to achieve double-digit revenue growth while maintaining operational efficiency.
