Unilever Reports Slight Q4 Turnover Dip to €14.2B Amidst Growth Strategy Overhaul

Q4 Financial Overview

Unilever plc disclosed its financial outcomes for the fourth quarter of 2024, revealing a turnover of €14.2 billion. This figure represents a marginal decrease of 0.1% compared to the same quarter in the previous year. Despite this, the company experienced an underlying sales growth of 4% during this period. Furthermore, Unilever announced a quarterly dividend of €0.4528 per share, payable in March.

Annual Financial Performance

Looking at the full fiscal year of 2024, Unilever's turnover saw an increase of 1.9% to €60.8 billion, with underlying sales growth climbing to 4.2%. However, the company faced a 3.7% decline in GAAP operating profit, which fell to €9.4 billion. Net profit for the year also decreased by 10.8% to €6.4 billion, equating to €2.29 per diluted share. A significant announcement was the expected completion of the separation of its UIce Cream business by the end of 2025.
