
Unilever's Financial Performance in Q4 2024
Unilever plc has disclosed its financial outcomes for the fourth quarter of 2024, revealing a turnover of €14.2 billion. This figure represents a marginal decrease of 0.1% from the previous year's corresponding period. Despite this slight downturn, the company experienced a 4% underlying sales growth during the quarter. The announced quarterly dividend is set at €0.4528 per share, payable in March.
Full Fiscal Year 2024 Overview
For the entire fiscal year of 2024, Unilever observed a 1.9% increase in turnover, totaling €60.8 billion, with an underlying sales growth of 4.2%. However, the company faced a 3.7% decline in GAAP operating profit, amounting to €9.4 billion. The net profit for the year also saw a significant drop of 10.8%, settling at €6.4 billion, or €2.29 per diluted share. Unilever has also announced its anticipation to finalize the separation of its UIce Cream business by the end of 2025.

Hein Schumacher, Unilever's CEO, commented on the year's achievements, stating, "Today's results reflect a year of significant activity as we focused on transforming Unilever into a consistently higher performing business.
