Ford Issues Massive Recall of Nearly 395,000 Vehicles for Multiple Safety Concerns

In a significant move, Ford Motor Company has announced the recall of 394,446 vehicles due to various safety issues, as reported by the United States National Highway Traffic Safety Administration on Tuesday.

Details of the Recall

The recall includes 20,484 units of the 2020-2024 Ford Escape and 2021-2024 Lincoln Corsair for a manufacturing defect in high-voltage battery cells. Additionally, 30,715 units of the 2019 Flex, Fiesta, and Lincoln MKT are being recalled for rearview camera issues. A substantial number of 295,449 units of the 2020-2022 F-Super Duty series and 2021-2022 F-650, F750 are being recalled over fuel pump concerns. Lastly, 47,818 units of the 2024-2025 Lincoln Nautilus are being recalled due to problems with the window automatic reversal system.

Ford's Response

Ford has assured that all necessary repairs will be carried out by dealers free of charge for the affected vehicles.
