myTVS Embarks on a New Journey
Digital auto aftermarket platform myTVS, a subsidiary of the $3 billion TVS Mobility Group, has announced its foray into the quick commerce segment for the distribution of auto parts and lubricants catering to both passenger and commercial vehicles. This innovative approach involves strategic supply chain partnerships with existing parts retail networks.
Leveraging its extensive digital catalogue, which boasts 1.2 crore parts records across 1000 models and 25000 unique SKUs, myTVS aims to transform partner retailers into dark stores. This transformation is facilitated by myTVS warehouse, enabling retailers to expand their product portfolio while minimizing inventory.
As part of this pioneering initiative, myTVS plans to establish 50 dark stores branded as myTVS Hypermart by March 2025 in key regions such as Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Maharashtra, and Gujarat. The company envisions scaling up to 200 more stores across India within the next three years. These stores will utilize AI-driven supply chain technology to ensure minimal returns and deliver the right product at the right place and at the right time.
