Weekly Natural Gas Inventory Update
In a recent report by the Energy Information Administration (EIA), the United States has witnessed a notable increase in natural gas inventories. The week ending April 18 saw an addition of 88 billion cubic feet (Bcf), bringing the total working gas storage to 1,934 Bcf.
Year-over-Year and Five-Year Average Comparison
Despite this weekly rise, the current stocks mark a decline of 478 Bcf compared to the same period last year. Furthermore, the inventories remain 44 Bcf below the five-year average of 1,978 Bcf, situating the total working gas within the five-year historical range.
