The Energy Information Administration (EIA) has reported a notable increase in working gas storage across the United States, with a weekly rise of 88 billion cubic feet (Bcf) to reach 1,934 Bcf for the week ending April 18.

Despite this weekly increase, the stocks have seen a significant decline of 478 Bcf compared to the same period last year. Additionally, the current levels remain 44 Bcf below the five-year average of 1,978 Bcf.
