Adobe Inc. has made a groundbreaking announcement this Thursday, revealing the launch of new artificial intelligence models designed for image generation within its Firefly app. This exciting development is set to expand the creative possibilities for users across iOS and Android platforms, with availability promised "soon."
Expanding the Firefly Ecosystem
Alongside the introduction of the Firefly Image Model 4 and Firefly Image Model 4 Ultra, Adobe is making the Firefly Video Model widely accessible. In a move to enrich the user experience, Firefly app enthusiasts will now have the opportunity to utilize models developed by Adobe's esteemed partners, including tech giants Google and OpenAI.
Enhancing Creative Tools with AI
Adobe Express, the companion app to Adobe Creative Cloud, is not left out of this innovation wave. It's set to receive a suite of new AI-powered video tools, featuring a novel Clip Maker and the ability to generate custom b-roll and backgrounds, further empowering creators to bring their visions to life.
"With Firefly, we set out to transform creators' experience by bringing image, video, audio, and vector generation together in a one-stop shop for AI-assisted creativity," remarked David Wadhwani, Adobe's President of Digital Media.
