Eurozone Construction Output Declines in February
According to the latest report from Eurostat, the European Commission's statistical office, the Eurozone experienced a 0.5% monthly decline in construction output in February. The European Union saw a slightly smaller decrease of 0.4%. However, when compared to the same month the previous year, there was a modest increase of 0.2% in the euro area and 0.3% in the EU.

Sector-Specific Performance Highlights Varied Challenges
The report detailed sector-specific performances, revealing the sharpest monthly dip in building construction within the Eurozone at 2.2%, followed by civil engineering at 1.3%, and specialized construction activities at 0.1%. Similarly, in the EU, building construction fell by 1.8%, civil engineering by 0.5%, and specialized construction activities by 0.2%.
