In mainland China, the Shanghai Composite saw a modest increase of 0.21% by 4:07 am CET, while the Shenzhen Composite experienced a slight decline of 0.38%. Meanwhile, Australia's S&P/ASX 200 remained steady, and South Korea's Kospi edged up by 0.18%.

Not all markets fared well, with Hong Kong's Hang Seng dropping by 0.86% and Japan's Nikkei 225 falling by 0.11% around the same time. The dollar showed little movement against the yen, trading at ¥140.8180 at 4:09 am CET.
