Infosys Upholds High Standards with Recent Trainee Terminations
In a move to maintain its high training standards, Infosys has terminated 240 trainees at its Mysuru campus after they failed to clear an internal assessment. Despite being given three attempts to qualify, the trainees could not meet the required benchmarks.

A Pattern of High Expectations
This marks the third such incident at the IT giant's Mysuru facility in recent months. Earlier in February, around 350 freshers were let go for similar reasons, followed by another 45 in March.
Support Measures for Affected Trainees
On a positive note, Infosys has announced support for the dismissed trainees, including one month's salary, a relieving letter, and access to a 12-week training programme aimed at preparing them for roles in the BPM sector. Collaborations with NIIT and UpGrad will further sponsor training programmes to enhance their employability.
