Trump Media Calls for SEC Investigation
Trump Media & Technology Group has formally requested the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to look into potential market manipulation involving its DJT stock. The company's concerns were highlighted in a memo dispatched on Thursday, specifically pointing to trades associated with Qube Research & Technologies, a hedge fund based in the UK.

Details of the Suspicious Activity
"Qube disclosed a nearly six-million-share short position," according to the memo, a move that Trump Media finds questionable due to the ambiguous timing and execution of these trades, especially since the disclosure was made exclusively in Germany.
Ongoing Concerns and Calls for Transparency
The memo also noted that short interest in DJT stock has remained unchanged since late March, despite Qube's recent disclosure. Additionally, the company referenced DJT's consistent appearance on Nasdaq’s threshold list as a possible red flag.
"We urge you to immediately investigate this suspicious trading and report your findings back to TMTG and any relevant civil and criminal authorities. American equities exchanges should be operated with full transparency and maximum efficiency, not as an opaque free-for-all reminiscent of a third-world casino," the memo stated.
