Trump Media Demands SEC Probe Into Suspicious DJT Stock Trading Linked to UK Hedge Fund

Concerns Over Market Manipulation

Trump Media & Technology Group has officially requested the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to investigate potential manipulation of its DJT stock. The company highlighted unusual trading activities associated with Qube Research & Technologies, a hedge fund based in the UK.

Details of the Suspicious Activity

"Qube disclosed a nearly six-million-share short position," the company noted, expressing concerns over the timing and execution of these trades, which were only filed in Germany. Despite Qube's disclosure, short interest in DJT stock has shown no significant changes since late March.

Call for Transparency

Trump Media also referenced DJT's continuous presence on Nasdaq’s threshold list as a red flag. The company's memo to the SEC emphasized the need for immediate action: "We urge you to investigate this suspicious trading and ensure the integrity of American equities exchanges."
