Russian Inflation on the Rise

According to Rosstat, Russia's statistical office, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) witnessed a year-on-year increase of 10.3% in March, marking a slight uptick from February's 10.1%.

Sector-Wise Price Surge

Food prices led the charge with a 12.4% annual increase, while non-food products and services saw hikes of 5.9% and 12.8%, respectively.

Monthly Insights

On a monthly basis, consumer prices edged up by 0.65%, with the Core CPI also reflecting a 9.6% annual rise and a 0.69% month-on-month increase.
